Complete results and summary of the semifinals of Torian Pro CrossFit 2022

Things are heating up downstairs. Over the course of the weekend of May 20-22, 2022, many of CrossFit’s top athletes participated in the 2022 Torian Pro CrossFit Semifinal. The Oceanic Regional Competition was held in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia and saw a very close competition, as well as some surprising results.

Unsurprisingly, CrossFit Games veteran and winningest woman of all time, Tia-Clair Toomey, took home the overall win on the women’s side, while Jay Crouch topped the men’s podium. In the Team division, CrossFit Urban Energy stood out and was able to climb to the top of the ladder by a comfortable margin.

As usual, the Torian Pro provided a rich mix of sporting challenges for the athletes. Five-time Games winner Toomey had nearly every workout in utter dominance, while the men’s podium was a closely contested battle during each and every event.

Torian Pro Team Results 2022

Thanks to outstanding performances at the individual level, as well as impressive team-based coordination, CrossFit Urban Energy was able to take the top of the team ladder at the 2022 Torian Pro.

They placed between first and third in all six practices, showing impressive consistency.

CrossFit Selwyn and CrossFit EXF were essentially neck-and-neck throughout the competition, but an unlucky ninth-place finish for EXF in workout 5 may have ultimately cost them a second place finish. Still, they have secured passage to the Games, nonetheless.

Looking forward

There is much more competitive CrossFit to come before fans around the world lay their eyes on Madison. From May 20 to June 12, competitions will take place around the world, giving each athlete (or team) the opportunity to prove their worth and confirm their placement at the sport’s most prestigious event later in the summer. .

On the horizon are the Mid-Atlantic Challenge and the Fittest in Cape Town semi-finals, which will take place between May 26-29, 2022.
