The month of June rhymes with summer. And summer rhymes with sun, holidays and summer trips that delight. The tan will wait …

The cave

The Quarry does not come out of nowhere: it is the brand new game from Supermassive Games, a studio that has acquired its credentials with the narrative genre … and horror. These are in particular the very nice exclusive PS4 Until Dawn and, for some years now, of The Dark Picture with Medan, Little Hope or House of Ashes! Their new title this time back to its origins with the desire to be a tribute to the slasher of the 80s and 90s: we will embody a gang of young people embodied by the great characters of the horror films of the time, trapped by absolutely disreputable villagers. A dark and delicious atmosphere, a first-rate technique and a scenario with more than a hundred different endings (!) Are in the program of this horrible experience to be devoured alone or with others. Definitely the biggest software planned for June, so keep an eye on it.

Sonic origins

PS4: the 6 games to see in June 2022

Waiting for the next big installment of the saga, which promises to be a small revolution, fans (maybe you) or the curious will soon fall back on Sonic Origins. To put it simply, it’s a compilation of Sonic the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, Sonic 3, Sonic & Knuckles and Sonic CD. Enough to rebuild your culture and from the best possible angle: there will be the Classic mode, which will allow you to play the titles as they were at the time, and the Anniversary mode, which will offer unlimited lives, higher resolution and an aspect ratio suitable for 16: 9 screens. Furthermore, in the news section, the closing and opening credits and a mission selection menu will be redesigned, which will allow you to collect coins to spend them in a special museum. There will also be new character animations on the program. In short, all right when you like SEGA’s blue porcupine.

MADISON

PS4: the 6 games to see in June 2022

Survival horror is a cornerstone of video games and the genre will soon welcome a newcomer: MADiSON. Here it is a particularly psychological horror inspired by both Silent Hill and Project Zero, two great references in the field: we will play Luca, a man chased by a demon named MADiSON who forced him to continue a terrible ritual, causing him to commit crimes not exactly pretty. To advance in the narrow and anxiety-provoking levels, he will especially use his camera to connect to the afterlife: a very stressful program as we like them in which survival is the only watchword. If you like the creepy supernatural, you’ve come to the right place and we really hope it’s a nice surprise.

Disgea 6 Complete

PS4: the 6 games to see in June 2022

Released in January 2021, Disgaea 6: Defiance of Destiny is a Japanese tactical RPG from an ultra-renowned franchise. This episode was particularly important to bring a real breath of fresh air into the saga: for example, the 3D graphics or the return of features such as the auto and retry modes are to be declared. We embody Zed, a zombie with the ability to become stronger (which is clearly not negligible): we can therefore support ourselves with the presence of our little sister, Bieko, as well as other more or less crazy friends to defeat the God of Destruction. An immense duration for this typically Japanese RPG that has nothing more to prove: this “Complete” version also allows you to add all the DLCs and extensions released so far for absolutely gigantic content. Clearly, you will get your money’s worth.

Cuphead: The ultimate delicious dish

PS4: the 6 games to see in June 2022

Cuphead was a real slap in the face when it arrived in 2017 – as hellishly beautiful, delightfully challenging and quite lengthy, this 2D action and shooter game is a superb tribute to 1930s cartoons. it hasn’t aged a bit and is still a gem. The funniest part of all of this is that his development studio is preparing to release the first expansion in 2022, called The Delicious Last Course. A DLC in preparation for years, postponed several times and which will finally be released to the public in June! The principle remains the same, i.e. a multitude of levels to cross (alone or in a local co-op!) With twisted bosses to defeat. New weapons, new attacks and new secrets are therefore to be discovered in this highly anticipated add-on that is clearly reminiscent of Cuphead 1.5. Perfect while waiting for a potential second title.

Rabbids: Party of Legends

PS4: the 6 games to see in June 2022

They’ve been around for a while and are back – the Rabbids will be releasing a brand new game in late June and this time without Mario. The Rabbids: Party of Legends promises to be a Mario Party, an ultra-friendly game to share with friends or family, of all ages, thanks to a multiplayer mode for up to four players … and local. We notice the same, at least fifty minigames with obviously crazy objectives: avoid an ultra aggressive giant fish, collect as many dishes as possible, cut down more fruits from a tree … A colorful and no headache that might suit players looking for an experience to share.

Pre-order Rabbids: Party of Legends on PS4 for € 41
